 People who have been following closely the recent developments in mobile phones would be surprised that T-Mobile’s most recent addition, the T-Mobile Vairy Touch, looks like HTC’s own Touch mobile phone. The shape, colour and even the touchscreen look uncannily like the HTC Touch.
The time of reckoning: Vairy Touch or HTC Touch?
What else did people notice about the Vairy Touch? Since the T-Mobile is offering cheaper mobile phones from their PrePay line, some reviews are saying that it’s harder to activate the Vairy Touch. That’s a normal drawback, since you’re aiming to use some of the features of high-end smart phones for a lower price. So the choice is yours; the Vairy Touch does not have Windows Mobile and it’s harder to play around with the touchscreen display but it’s cheaper. Would you buy a Vairy Touch or an HTC Touch Pro? Or something running on a Symbian OS?
The battle of the iPhone killers
 Of course, you can just compare the T-Mobile Vairy Touch to the purported iPhone killer, the Blackberry Storm. While the Blackberry Storm isn’t really that cheap, it doesn’t carry the same price tag as the original iPhone. T-Mobile offerings have the advantage of being intrinsically cheap because they’re being mass-produced by some of the largest manufacturers from China. One good example would be ZTE itself, which already has a presence in the United Kingdom (ZTE Limited).
PrePay’s getting better
Many reviews of other T-Mobile offerings are already available, so you won’t have trouble making your mind regarding your next purchase. The T-Mobile Vairy Touch costs £59.99 (this is as cheap as it gets) and has the advantage of having T-Mobile and ZTE backing up the durability of the device. Sporting a snapper that’s a tad low (1.3 MP only), the Vairy Touch makes up for it through its large screen and its Bluetooth-enabled features. Is it enough to please PrePay consumers? We think so.
