More Videos of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

Sony Ericsson Xperia X102010 is just around the corner and there are so many things to look forward to next year. Starting with January, plenty of devices will be launching. In fact there are launches each month dating all the way up to sometime during the third quarter for the new WinMo version 7.

Some of the interesting devices include the launch of the Access-Emblaze made first by ELSE, the launch of Samsung’s Bada phone, the HTC HERO and of course, the much anticipated Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.

The new XPERIA not only promises to bring back life to the series but to bring it to a whole new level. The mobile phone sports an impressive 1GHz Snapdragon processor and the Google Android 1.6 Donut operating system.

Looks like the HERO and X10 will be ducking out when the devices finally launch –and if Google does release their own device, we will also see a high end Android 2.0 added to the mix.

The X10’s specs have been slowly released to the public in the past few weeks and many are happy with the specs. There were a few minor misconceptions and rumors, particularly about the use of the new Android 2.0 operating system (as well as a minor rumor that the name would be X3).

Since the first leaked photos, the X10 has been a stylish smart phone -while mostly appearing in either white or metallic colors.  The device also uses the Nexus UX interface and is proving to be pretty stylish on screen.

The only snag about the new XPERIA is that it is taking Sony a long time to release it. It is far from being the only Snapdragon with the Android and people might lose interest pretty soon. If its competitors, like the HERO come out at an earlier time, SE stands to lose some of the X10’s crowd.
