It seems like the previous news about iPad production troubles in China are having a bigger repercussion than anyone could have expected. While some believed that the new touch screen tablet may end up plagued with problematic parts, it seems that a different kind of misfortune has befallen the iPad: shortage.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the bigwigs at Cupertino failed to order a sufficient number of Apple iPads to be produced and as such, there will not be enough for a worldwide launch by the end of April. This has placed the much awaited launch of the iPad tablet in a severe backlog of almost a whole month. The new iPad launch date is now scheduled for the end of May.
Some critics and fans alike are heavily slamming the explanation given by Apple regarding the cause of the delay, hinting at the possibility that there might be an underlying reason as to why the wait will have to take a full month from the scheduled launch (as it is, there was never supposed to be a separate US and worldwide launch in the first place which means that this is technically the second major delay for the iPad launch).
Regardless of the reason, many folks have not allowed the situation to stop them from trying out the touch screen tablet. Many have already ordered the device from the US to have them shipped locally and plenty of people have already reported iPad sightings all over the globe.
Sadly, even if a person does order an iPad online, the device will still have limited capabilities as the Apple App store only allows accounts that use American addresses and purchasing apps from the store will require a credit card with a US billing address.
