There is nothing more exciting than the launch of a next generation device. Despite the fact that we are all too familiar with Apple and the iPhone series, there is a very strong promise of getting something totally new and different with the upcoming iPhone 4G.
To begin with, nobody seems to know what the name of this new device really is. Many claim that the phone will be named iPhone 4G –in keeping with the new standard set by the iPhone 3G. It sounds interesting, but at the same time, a moot point particularly when there is no certainty that the next network band series will be called 5G.
Some are also saying that it may be called the iPhone HD, as it promises to have a larger screen and of course, HD quality visuals. While the name does apply to the device, it pretty much isolates the gadget as a multimedia device more than anything else.
Another big question for fans is what the device actually looks like. There are already plenty of blogs, rumors and reports that are stating that they have some sort of leaked image for the iPhone 4G. While most of these images possess some common traits, there is also the fact that the images show slightly different iPhone devices –though it really is interesting that many share similar elements –perhaps some of these leaks are actually true?
Judging from the internal shots and the layout of the new phone, we can already confirm several of the supposed new features. First off, the device is said to have support for micro SIMs, a front facing camera, a removable battery and other features –these features have been reflected in the screen shots of the new phone.
