When it comes to smart phones, having a QWERTY keyboard certainly helps. This is the reason why many BlackBerry devices are still being used today –because they make the process of sending long messages so much easier. Despite touch screen phones offering access to virtual keyboards, nothing beats the solid feel of physical buttons when you are typing out your messages. This is the big advantage that has made the Motorola Milestone (DROID) a hit among Android fans –keyboard presence.
This is the very same element that Samsung is planning to cash in with their upcoming Galaxy S Pro. Now, specific details on the actual device are still unconfirmed as Samsung has yet to make a formal announcement regarding the smart phone. But if their device does turn out to be real, then it would have the very same specifications as the original Galaxy S.
The Galaxy S is Samsung’s latest Android smart phone. This device will be running on a 1GHz CPU and will come packed with the latest Android operating system. Samsung will also be using a new TouchWiz user interface and adding new features such as Smart Life and the previously shown Social hub.
It is also the second handset that will be using the super AMOLED display. Judging from the visual quality of the Samsung Wave (which also used the same screen technology), the super AMOLED screen delivers impressive graphics that surpasses other normal AMOLED screens.
Aside from the Samsung Wave and the Samsung Galaxy S, the Korean manufacturer has announced a third device that will be using the new screen technology. According to reports, Samsung is currently working on a new smart phone that will be using the Windows Phone 7 mobile platform.
