The Nokia N8 smart phone has to be one of the most delayed devices to be announced by the Finnish phone maker. Anyone keeping track of the news would know that the device was supposed to come out as early as April of this year. However, constant delays have pushed the device back by quite a lot -until this point. According to various sources, the phone is finally making a debut in store shelves this month, on September 30.
As much as it is likely that the launch might be delayed again, the fact that some retailers are now making provisions for the only N-series device running the Symbian^3 platform, it is still a good sign that we have something to look forward to.
Speaking of upcoming devices, there is no doubt that the next HTC Android smart phone will be a major hit. The initial leaked photos of the HTC Vision are proving that all the hype about this handset is well worth it. The device was previously leaked in a series of images followed by an appearance (in name) on the official 2010 road map.
So far, the hardware specs on this device are not confirmed, though it is certain that the handset will be packing a slide out physical QWERTY keyboard. There are also new rumors about the Vision as well. According to some reports, there are indications that the name of the handset might be changed to Vanguard.
Lastly, a recent study has shown that the public is actually pretty smart about the spread of 3D technology. While the use of 3D on most visual media is starting to get adapted, many see that it is not a practical direction to take. According to the study, many believe that the internet is far more important that 3D technology.
