A Quick Review of the LG GM730

LG GM730Mobile devices are pretty fun to look at; the LG GM730 is no exception. With its excellent external face and unique shape, this mobile phone will grab your attention with its look alone. Most touch screen phones share a common look. This has been dictated by the nature of the touch screen and the need to make the use of space, but this phone has taken the design concept into a whole new level by creating an elongated elliptical shape that is aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound. The main reason we see for having this design is that this phone is separating itself from all the other atypical touch screen devices on the market.

Conforming to Standards

While the GM730 is designed differently on an external level, it follows the norm for smart phones, which, in our opinion, is actually a good idea. The three inch touch screen provides an excellent way to interface with the Windows Mobile Professional operating system. Just click on the screen and you can access the entire Office mobile software and other useful features. This phone can connect to WiFi, EDGE, HSDPA, and GPS systems for a wide range of functions as well. The built in Internet Explorer mobile can be easily replaced with a downloadable opera browser –which, as most would agree, is a better browser.

Behind the Screen

Aside from the operating system and the touch screen, the rest of the specifications for this mobile phone conform to the required hardware for smart phones. LG has gone all out by putting in a good media player, FM radio, a 5 mega pixel camera and other useful functions into the device. Users will be happy to know that using and accessing all these functions is easy and fast, the GM730 is built to run programs fast without any noticeable problems.
