Instead of “Comes With Music” apps, it gets preloaded with a lifetime license for its voice-guided direction for driving and walking. It sports free pre-installed Ovi Maps as well. Nokia puts its useful information with local traffic and weather updates at the touch of its resistive touchscreen display.

Except for the Comes With Music bundled apps, you get a sophisticated GPS feature described above on top of the usual touchscreen smartphone features of the Nokia 5800. As a quad band GSM with 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA you get no-wait internet browsing and downloading. It runs on the proven versatility and reliability of the Symbian S60 release 5.0 OS. It houses a shared 128 MB internal memory supported with a microSD expansion slot.
The handset features a proximity sensor that disables the touchscreen sensitivity when the handset is held against your face in a call. It sports an accelerometer for automatic portrait and landscape viewing.

Availability
The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is announced to arrive at the €285 price point by the end of the 3rd quarter. Its sales kit comes with an 8 GB microSD, a car mounting kit and charger.
