With the launch of Samsung Jet S8000, Samsung is introducing a long lineup of handsets including a few Smartphone’s which will work on TouchWiz 2.0 interface, that has a striking 3D Cube launcher and some other interesting functionalities.
Samsung S8000 Jet is integrated with unique features like the Media Gate 3D and the Motion UI. The Media gate3D is a spontaneous cube UI with six sides which allows you to flick details on the screen, making is fast and simple for you to access all the 6 main multimedia features including FM Radio, photo album, internet, video player, music player and games. You can be sure that the Samsung S8000 Jet is a part of the 3D Media gate pack with the central button which is designed like a cube under the display. There is a vibration reaction which is a little aggressive, but can be changed. It is a little like a tiny but powerful animal which is jailed in the body of the phone and runs crazy whenever it is poked.
The main volume key is placed on the left side of the mobile phone body while essential Cubic-style key as well as the end and call keys in the front. Everything is simple to reach as the mobile phone is just 11cm in length and may seem a little tiny when you hold it. The cubic key, which has to be held down to get into the Motion Gate or you can just press it to use the cube.
Samsung S8000 Jet also comes with the WVGA AMOLED screen and one would imagine the video to look better, especially with a smaller screen, but it is not as exciting as i8910 HD or Tocco Ultra Edition also from Samsung. It is possible that we have got accustomed to darker hues and high contrasting video on handsets.
