Samsung MBP200 Pico Projector: Portable and Feature Rich

Samsung-i7410-pico-projectorSamsung has recently unveiled yet another innovative device that gadget geeks will salivate over. The Samsung MBP200 Pico Projector is a handy accessory that allows users to conduct presentations in style. At 5.6 ounces, the MBP200 isn’t a chore to carry around and it is very convenient to use. You can proceed with the viewing experience in three ways: connect the device to your mobile phone, attach it to a laptop or just use it as a stand-alone device. That’s right.  The MBP200 is so advanced it doesn’t need an external source to be able to project data. It accepts microSD cards so you can just load content onto the card and slip it into the MBP200.

Samsung-MBP200-Pico-Projector-FrontOf course, Samsung wouldn’t be one of the leading electronics companies in the world if the features stopped there. In typical Samsung fashion, the MBP200 has been incorporated with some ultra-modern elements. For instance, the imaging system used on this microprojector is the same one integrated into theater projectors. This makes for clear, premium quality image display. Further, it also has the Texas Instruments DLP Pico chip so that you are able to display content over a sheet of paper to a 50-inch wide screen.

To top it all off, the Samsung MBP200 Projector supports a variety of multimedia content and document formats. You can display Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF files as well as JPEG and GIF images. It plays videos and music. The MBP200 has a 2.2 inch QVGA LCD screen which is convenient as you might want to review content before putting it up on projector.

There are other brands of microprojectors available like the 3M Mpro110 although we don’t know how it measures up to the display quality of the Samsung MBP200. There is also the Cinemin Stick by toy company WowWee. Samsung will release its device sometime May and the unit is estimated to cost around £400 to £450.
