Sony Ericsson‘s latest handset to run the Android operating system, the Xperia 3, has once again been spotted in the wild, encouraging speculation that the release cannot be too far off.
The mobile phone’s specs have already been widely reported on, and include the powerful and highly sought after 1 GHz Qaulcomm Snapdragon processor, (the same as the recently unveiled Acer Liquid device,) as well as a wide screen VGA 4 inch display that currently put the Sony Ericsson Xperia 3 at the top of the Android scale, in terms of specifications.
The built in camera is also set to be the best in the current Android operating system world, as it is reportedly 8 mega pixels with flash. It seems that 8 mega pixels, while still impressive, is starting to become quite common in newer mobile phone models – something that is sure to please all the Facebook happy snappers out there.
The display itself is capacitive and reportedly has a new skin to boost your Android OS experience, and it seems that this handset could just be the device that finally breathes new life into the slightly decaying company – much like the Motorola DEXT did for Motorola.
What everyone wants to know is when we will be seeing this beautiful model in the UK; and the answer is, supposedly, early 2010 – although that cant be supported at this stage, and there is also speculation it could be seen as early as November in an attempt to make it a big seller come Christmas time.
We will be providing updates on pricing when they become available, as well as advising you if we here any news of pre order dates.
