The latest addition to the Sony Ericsson line-up is generating a lot of excitement among mobile phone addicts. The recently unveiled Sony Ericsson T707 Elle certainly has the looks of a best seller what with the dazzling variants that the unit comes in. For even more enhanced styling, Sony Ericsson incorporated pulsating light alerts into the phone. These light effects can be customised so that when the phone rings, the color assigned to a particular contact lights up. Also, the clever Gesture Control feature is sure to attract a lot of buyers. This feature allows you to mute the phone with a simple sweep of your hand.
Sony Ericsson opted to go for a clamshell casing on this one, even with the proliferation of touchscreen phones like the Samsung S5600 Preston and the LG Cookie. And why should they be worried? Style isn’t the only major selling point of the T707 Elle. The phone has 3G connectivity as well as WAP, WAP XHTML and Bluetooth – quite extensive for a mid-range phone. Messaging features are also optimised on this phone. You can synchronize your device with the Microsoft Exchange email server and you can send a variety of multimedia messages to your contacts. If this isn’t enough, the T707 Elle is also equipped with a host of organizational tools to help you keep your schedules on track. Sony Ericsson plans to release the unit into the market this May but they haven’t provided any details as to how much the T707 Elle will cost.
