The Vodafone 360 H1 is an amazingly slick touchscreen mobile phone designed by Samsung especially the new Vodafone 360 service.
The new service plans to integrate all social networking websites, contacts, email and multimedia all into one place. It is a replacement for the 7 year old Vodafone Live, which launched way back in 2002. The service will be available on four different smartphones made by Nokia upon their launch, as well as the Vodafone 360 H1 mobile phone – a custom handset made for the service.
The H1 is truly a different breed of mobile device; with all the Android powered handsets flooding the market lately, the H1 is based on Linux and running the LiMo, (otherwise known as Linux “Mobile”,) operating system. Although a lot of you wont be familiar with the OS, it was actually used on the Motorola RAZR2 V8 – so without knowing it, you may have already experienced it.
The Vodafone 360 H1 has got quite a lot of bang for your buck; a 3.5 inch touchscreen with a good resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 5 mega pixel camera with built in flash and auto focus as well as GPS functionality.
With a multimedia player that supports most audio formats, including MP3, WMA and AAC alongside its 8 GB and 16 GB memory, (depends on model,) and the option to add a microSD card it really does have a lot on offer.
Vodafone has announced that the 360 H1, along with the 360 service itself, will be available before Christmas this year in the United Kingdom – which is good because with its attractive design and built in functionality with the fun new 360 service, it is sure to be on a lot of people’s wishlists this year.
